Steinmark to use skills and experience in additive manufacturing to drive design
and production capacity for Materic companies, Synteris and Danae
June 24, 2022, Baltimore, MD – Early Charm, a company that creates, owns and operates ventures that convert science to revenue, today announced the hiring of Adam Steinmark, an experienced designer of manufacturing processes and materials, as Mechanical Engineer – Additive & Custom Manufacturing.
In his new role, Steinmark will work with Materic portfolio companies – Synteris and Danae – to design and build custom machinery for additive manufacturing of ceramics, plus rendering CAD files for 3D printing production.
Steinmark, who earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineer from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), has developed significant experience in additive manufacturing since his introduction to 3D printing as a member of a FIRST Robotics team in 2014.
He later interned with Picatinny Arsenal where he worked to modify existing machinery to increase its capabilities and reliability for printing various paste viscosities.
Steinmark also worked with the Innovation Lab, a STEM outreach group, where he created a design for a low-cost, novel and kid-safe 3D printer. He subsequently worked at the NJIT Makerspace while pursuing his degree.
“Adam really is an exemplar of a new generation of mechanical engineers with deep expertise in the nature of 3D printing and additive manufacturing,” said Ken Malone, Executive Officer with Early Charm. “We look forward to leveraging Adam’s talent and skill as we rapidly expand our capacity in 3D printing technologies.”
