Karlovich to lead product design and marketing for
Early Charm Portfolio company, Lankenau Ventures
March 24, 2022, Baltimore, MD – Early Charm, a company that creates, owns and operates ventures that convert science to revenue, today announced the hiring of Kristen Karlovich, an entrepreneur with significant experience in product design, as Design and Marketing Associate.
In her new role, Karlovich will apply her product design and marketing skills to help grow Lankenau Ventures, an Early Charm portfolio company that is accelerating development and commercialization of medical inventions conceived by frontline healthcare workers.
Karlovich also will manage web development, manufacturing and product testing for Lankenau Ventures’ product pipeline.

Earlier in her career, she was a product design intern for Greatest Possible Good in Baltimore and HACK Baltimore.
Karlovich completed her undergraduate work at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2021 with a major in Product Design and a minor in Sustainability and Social Practices. She also studied at the Burren College of Art in Ireland with a focus in ecology and sustainability and their application to product design. In addition, Karlovich plans to complete a Master’s degree in Healthcare and Design this fall at the Royal College of Art in London in conjunction with the Imperial College of London Medical Division.
“We’re excited to have Kristen join our team and look forward to leveraging her energy, experience and creative skills, honed at MICA, to help drive the continued growth of Lankenau Ventures,” said Ken Malone, Executive Officer with Early Charm.
