Early Charm Announces Hiring of Ankita Katiyar, PhD as Applications Scientist

Katiyar will focus on product and technology development

for Early Charm’s Drug Design portfolio of companies

August 24, 2021, Baltimore, MD – Early Charm, a company that creates, owns and operates ventures that convert science to revenue, today announced the hiring of Ankita Katiyar, PhD as Applications Scientist focusing on product development with Early Charm’s Drug Design portfolio of companies.

Katiyar – a chemist with expertise in a range of areas including molecular dynamics and quantum mechanics – recently completed her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Kansas. She earned a BS-MS dual degree in Chemistry (major) and Mathematics (minor) at the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Bhopal in Bhopal, India.

Katiyar’s extensive research and lab experience includes numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations on a range of topics including supramolecular chemistry and peptide dynamics.

In addition, Katiyar also was an Intern at the Shell Technology Center Bangalore in Karnataka, India, where she worked with the experimental and computational R&D teams at Shell Technology Center Houston.
