Lokurkar will focus on business development and technical sales
for Early Charm’s Drug Design portfolio of companies
September 1, 2021, Baltimore, MD – Early Charm, a company that creates, owns and operates ventures that convert science to revenue, today announced the hiring of Isha Lokurkar – a research scientist and seasoned product development and business leader whose work will center on business development and technical sales for Early Charm’s Drug Design portfolio.
Lokurkar brings six years of experience leading multiple teams to design several groundbreaking scientific innovations.
During this part of her career, Lokurkar was Lead Research Associate and Lab Manager at Harvard Medical School with a focus on ovarian cancer and diabetes research.
In addition, Lokurkar co-founded a company, DeepBiomix, that applies ML/AI technologies to the healthcare industry using the Google Cloud Platform.
As part of her role with Early Charm, Lokurkar will lead business development and technical sales for Early Charm’s Drug Design portfolio of companies, which include: SilcsBio, Rasio Therapeutics, Revolve Biotechnologies, Geminus and ComputChem.

Lokukar holds a MBA from Johns Hopkins University and a MS in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned a BS in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai (India).
As part of her MBA studies, Lokurkar last year completed an internship with Schrodinger, Inc. where she worked in competitive analysis to design drugs using machine learning platforms.
