Eichensehr joins Early Charm to help enhance its
portfolio companies’ financing communications
October 18, 2021, Baltimore, MD – Early Charm, a company that creates, owns and operates ventures that convert science to revenue, today announced the hiring of Morgan Eichensehr, formerly a reporter with the Baltimore Business Journal (BBJ), as Technical Writer.
Prior to joining Early Charm, Eichensehr, as a beat reporter with the BBJ, covered key news stories on technology and entrepreneurship in Greater Baltimore, plus covered the region's higher education, health care and cannabis industries.
Eichensehr, a native of Baltimore, also has written for a range of news organizations, including The Baltimore Sun, USA Today and the Dow Jones News Fund.
In her role as Technical Writer with Early Charm, Eichensehr will help craft and shape content for potential partners, investors and grantors in support of Early Charm’s portfolio of companies in Drug Design, Custom Materials, Blue Economy and Engineered Products.
“At the heart of all financing efforts is the need to convey a compelling story,” said Ken Malone, Executive Officer with Early Charm. “And doing so for businesses that rely on cutting edge science requires a unique skill set. Having watched Morgan get quickly to the essence of a complex story and write about it concisely at the BBJ, I know she has this skill set.”
Eichensehr is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism and was Senior Staff Writer for the university’s daily newspaper, The Diamondback.
