to engage with the Early Charm team to learn about entrepreneurship, technology development and customer discovery
October 12, 2021, Baltimore, MD – Early Charm, a company that creates, owns and operates ventures that convert science to revenue, this fall is hosting two collegiate Interns, both of whom are complementing their academic work by learning more about customer discovery, market research, international marketing strategy, business planning and technology commercialization.
Early Charm’s 2021 Fall Interns are:
Eleanor Kluegel, a native of Fairfax Station, VA, currently is pursuing a Master's degree in Emerging Media at Loyola University Maryland where she graduated last spring from with a BS in Biology. She also was a member of Loyola’s Division-I lacrosse team (and is set to play one more season this school year). Kluegel, whose background in biology includes undergraduate microbiology research, also is interested in innovation and entrepreneurship, which comprised the basis of her undergraduate minor.
Grace Li, a Miami, FL native, is currently a senior at Loyola University Maryland, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Li also is a member of the women's soccer team at Loyola. This past summer, Li served as a Near Peer Mentor with the US Army Medical Research and Development Command GEMS Program. For her Early Charm internship, Li will be involved primarily in learning 3-D printing technologies with Early Charm portfolio company, Synteris.
"We’re excited to host Eleanor and Grace as our 2021 Early Charm Fall interns,” said Ken Malone, Executive Officer with Early Charm. “Our team is glad to have the opportunity to help our interns enhance their academic work with practical learning and experiences through interaction with our Early Charm portfolio companies.”
Both interns will engage with Early Charm’s professional teams to learn about the technology development and customer discovery process via Early Charm’s portfolio companies in Drug Design, Custom Materials, Blue Economy and Engineered Products.
