Sultania, a chemical and biomolecular engineer, to focus on R&D and driving product development for Early Charm’s Ortuvo, Rasio Therapeutics and Revolve Biotechnologies

September 26, 2022, Baltimore, MD – Early Charm Ventures, a company that creates, owns and operates ventures that convert science to revenue, today welcomed Rashi Sultania – a chemical and biomolecular engineer – as Research Associate focusing on R&D and product development for Early Charm’s advanced materials and drug design portfolio of companies.

In her new role, Sultania will work with Early Charm portfolio companies Ortuvo, Rasio Therapeutics and Revolve Biotechnologies, supporting each company’s product development work in the areas of materials science and cellular biology.

Prior to joining Early Charm, Sultania most recently worked as a Drug Development Co-op Research Intern with KamTek, Inc. in Frederick, MD. She also previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, working on analyzing immortalized striatal precursor neurons (ISPNs) cell lines with different CAG repeats for Huntington disease.

Sultania earned a M.S.E. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University following completion of her Master’s Thesis on “Microbiome and Germination studies with Clostridium Difficile.” She also earned a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from Nirma University in Ahmedabad, India.
